This depends on your subscription. On the largest plan you can send 50 milion dots per month. This is for 1000 devices around 1x per minute. Or with 100 devices it will be around 10x per minute. If this isn't sufficient, then please contact us to discuss a custom plan.
You are the owner of your own data. Blackpoint only facilitates in the IoT platform and the storage of the data.
On default we store your raw data for 1 year. After that your raw data is being purged. But we do aggregate your data from the raw data. This data is showed in the charts and is stored longer. If you have a Private Cloud subscription then the data retention can be setup differently.
With an Private Cloud you will get your own hosting environment and database cluster. Independently of other customers. This is interesting if you have a lot of data to store and devices to connect. Or if you want specific customisations on the platform.
